Sundays of Summer

"So, what do you want mean by you're so wrong about Chelsi? Chris asked me. "Huh, Alex?"

"Well you guys think that Chelsi is nice, smart and good friends with everybody..."I answered. "Well she actually mean ignoring me and Lily. She might be smart but that's not important. Anyway she is absolutely evil. She hates me and Lily."

"Umm, well, okay. How do we know you're aren't lying?"

"If you don't believe, there is something wrong with you, but go ask Chelsi herself, you tall twerp. Now I'm going to climb the tree." I asked pointing to the huge oak tree. "Bye."

"Alex, by the way Selena is looking for you..."

"Pssh, whatever, I really need to read a book... adios."

I walked and shimmied up the tree pickng a nice sturdy branch, I could vaguely heard people claling my names. They got louder and louder, until they were directly under me. I ignored the sounds, and cracked open my book, The Ruby Key.

"Alex? Are you up there?" A girly voice called.

"Who are you?" I answered, thinking through all the possibilities.

"Selena and Lily!"

"Okay, come up." I crawled up to the center of the tree which was shaped like a sort platform with branches growing on the sides. i left my book in the paltform and peered through the branches.

"First Selena." I pulled her up and she helped me pull Lily up.

"So what happened to Aidan, Chris and Chelsi?"

"Chelsi went home cause they're going to have a party." Lily told me.

"But I am staying here along with you two until our parents come back from a long vacation." Selena finished.

"Ughh, Who's here to supervise us?" I asked in exasperation.

"Aidan and Chris." Lily smirked. " We were told to bring you back."

"Okay, I am coming. Let me just get my book."
